Well, I thought I was done with Dauntless Privateers, but as I got deeper into the editing, I found I needed to break up some long chapters, which forced some rewriting. Not unanticipated. It reminds me of something I heard from another writer, that he'd end up re-writing every sentence ten times, or was it fifty? I don't think I'm that detailed, but I will say every time I read it, I see where I can improve. The cycle continues, write, edit, re-write, edit... You get the picture.
Even with Dance Noir, I realize I could have done better. That ink has dried, so I will have to improve my technique and detail on each subsequent release.
I have a working title and cover art for the next in the Nick Gazelle Investigation series. I just posted that to my Author Site (RigginsWrites.com), so take a look when you get a chance. Drop me a note and let me know what you think of the artwork and title.
Keep reading and "Enjoy the Dance!"
