Vacation writing...
Here I am on vacation with my family and doing some writing. Perhaps not as much as I might normally, as I have the pleasant distraction of my Son, his Wife, who is six months pregnant with our first grandchild. I'll take that distraction any time!
I am working through the edits to the chapters of "Privateers of the Dauntless" and outlining the next Nick Gazelle investigation. I'm currently working through the coarse edit of each chapter. Some chapters need expanding, and a couple are a bit too long and should be split and reviewed. If I split them, it would require some transitional writing to blend from one to the other. This is all progressing nicely.
As most of you know, I have sent out release forms to get your permission to use your name and character. Once I have more of them signed and returned, I'll start posting "sneak peaks" here in my blog, but I can't do that yet without all the release forms. I'm enhancing the working cover art as well. I've been learning a great deal regarding the "science" of cover art. More to follow on that. Stay tuned...
On another note, I need to build my subscriber list so that I have a group of test and ARC readers. To that end, assuming you liked my book, Dance Noir, please pass on a good recommendation to a couple of friends and have them sign up here for my newsletter. I have 13 very good reviews, and the book is averaging 4.8 on Amazon. I'm halfway to the Amazon algorithms kicking in, so any help is appreciated.
